Veena Chandran Ceramics is a studio-led practice rooted in slow, intuitive making. Each piece is shaped through a hands-on approach that honours material, process, and imperfection. Blending functional design with sculptural sensibility, the work reflects tactile surfaces, quiet beauty, and a philosophy that values time, care, and emotional resonance over mass production.

The turning point was the large wood-fired jar series. Surrendering to fire and unpredictability shifted my practice from making objects to engaging in dialogue with material, time, and presence.

I design for quiet grounding, for moments of pause where one feels anchored and present. My work invites touch, stillness, and reconnection through weight, texture, and form.
