Bloni

Designer Akshat Bansal’s work is instantly defined by its relationship with textile and form. A Bloni piece is recognisable long before you register the label. The silhouettes carry a sense of scale and intention, often sculptural, often fluid, always pushing the boundary of what a material can do. The textiles feel futuristic not in aesthetic alone, but in the way they interact with the body.

There is an unwavering focus on evolving the wearability of fashion in the context of anatomies and identities. Before starting every collection, Akshat always returns to one question: “What is the cultural shift right now?”

Their use of rubber & tie-dye is especially distinct; the way it moves on the body feels almost unreal, shaped by Akshat’s understanding of anatomy and flow. Tying these ideas back to Indian roots, the brand continues to explores rural crafts & sustainable materials in unexpected ways.
